Pale in Foligno

Pale hydroelectric power plant, in operation since 1961, is located on the Menotre river within the district of Foligno (Perugia).

Seva bought the ruins of an old plant at the beginning of the 1990's, completely restored it; automating the operation and capacity regulation.

This plant is characterized by a lateral water-intake, a 3km long free-surface channel, numerous tunnels and a water bridge.

The Pale power plant houses a horizontal-axis Francis turbine.
